Ed Wytkind

Ed Wytkind is Senior Advisor to the AFL-CIO and the AFL-CIO Tech Institute. For more than two decades he was the leader of the Transportation Trades Department, AFL-CIO, a federation of transportation unions focused on advancing strong, pro-worker and pro-investment federal policies. He focuses on the development and execution of a labor technology and innovation agenda—from policy and research & development to bargaining strategies and partnerships with outside stakeholders. Ed was a member of the AFL-CIO's senior staff team that managed and completed the work of the AFL-CIO Commission on the Future of Work and Unions and supported the implementation of the commission's recommendations including the creation and launch of the Technology Institute.
