Crystal Weise

Crystal Weise is the Innovation Policy & Programs Manager at the AFL-CIO Tech Institute. She is dedicated to protecting workers' rights and advocating for strong guardrails on digital technologies and artificial intelligence. With a background in economics and public policy, Crystal wrote about the effects of technology policy on equity in education at the OECD. Most recently, she was at the Center for American Progress, focusing on crafting inclusive economic policies, particularly in creating good jobs. Crystal works to ensure that the benefits of technological innovation drive equitable outcomes for workers and create economic prosperity for all. She has a Master of Public Administration from the London School of Economics.
