Crystal Weise

Crystal Weise is the Innovation Policy Advisor at the AFL-CIO Tech Institute. She is committed to maximizing federal investments in technology to create quality jobs and elevate worker voice in designing, developing, manufacturing, and implementing innovative technologies. With a background in economics and public policy, Crystal wrote about the effects of technology policy on equity in education at the OECD. Most recently, she was at the Center for American Progress, focusing on crafting inclusive economic policies, particularly in creating good jobs. With a pragmatic approach and a focus on tangible outcomes, Crystal works to ensure that the benefits of technological innovation drive equitable outcomes for workers and create economic prosperity for all. She has a Master of Public Administration from the London School of Economics.
